Hori-Dashi is the latest album of ten ten, featuring six tracks that were composed and performed over the last 18 months. The album fuses vocals and traditional instruments
such as shamisen, taiko drums, shakuhachi and bamboo flutes, with western instruments such as keyboards, electric guitar, bass guitar, double bass, piano, cello and harmonica. Our latest work is a mix of traditional sounds enveloped with jazz, pop, folk and blues sensibilities. The musicians include Aki Takahashi, Heidi Chan, Brian Kobayakawa, Kevin He, Shinya Sato, Ken Yoshioka, and Yukiko Tsutsui. The album is produced Chris Stringer.
